Boyhood is de grote winnaar van Golden Globes die zijn uitgereikt in Los Angeles. De film won in drie categorieën: Beste Film (drama), Beste Regisseur en Beste Vrouwelijke Bijrol.Birdman en The Theory of Everything wonnen in twee categorieën. De filmprijzen, die worden toegekend door de in Amerika werkende buitenlandse entertainmentjournalisten, werden voor de 72e keer uitgereikt. Tina Fey en Amy Poehler presenteerden de avond.
De winnaars in de filmcategorieën zetten we op een rijtje. De prijzen voor de tv-series laten wij gemakshalve even achterwege, maar deze zijn te vinden op de site van The Golden Globes.
